Generally a Medium Carbon Steel with reasonable tensile strength which is extensively used as a mould base plate. It is hot-rolled and flame cut, though we can also supply this as band-saw cut plates as per customer requirement. This grade of steel can be used as such or hardened to improve its surface hardness. We stock material from premium mills like Uttam Value Steels, Jindal and TATA in thickness from 4mm to 250 mm. We can supply black and bright bars of diameter up to 300 mm.
